My Magical Moment

In summer, I went to Connecticut to meet my relatives. I visited many places like New York, Washington D.C. The most magical moment was when I saw the President of United States, Barack Obama, near the White House.

From our hotel, we drove all the way to the State Capital. We saw it and were thrilled. We went to the Washington Monument. From the Washington Monument, we went to the Lincoln Memorial and we also went to the Jefferson’s Memorial. We were all really tired after the long trip. We went to the Air and Space Museum. Our last place to visit was the White House. While I was walking, sweat dripped from my forehead. At last, we were in front of the White House.

When I got my camera, I started clicking some pictures of the White House. I zoomed in to take a close picture of the security guards standing in front of the White House. At that very moment, I saw 2 big black cars pulling up in front of the White House and out came the President of the United States, Barack Obama. I couldn’t believe my eyes and I immediately   gave the camera to my brother to see if he could see what I was seeing. To my surprise, my brother yelled, “Yes, I see the President of the United States.” I was thrilled so I grabbed the camera from him and again saw the President of the United States through the zoomed lens. That was my magical moment.

I was so excited and thrilled that I started jumping around with joy. My brother and I also started calling all our friends on the phone and excitedly told them that we saw the President of the United States, Barack Obama. Everyone was so thrilled and happy for us.

Seeing Barack Obama is my most magical moment.
